family,
well this week was good. i went to a funeral and my companion dedicated a grave. i got over my sickness and had some good lessons. loads of fun. monday we just played board games with our district. its really boring being in a 4 man district but next transfer we will be gettign two sisters and maybe two elders. way cool. tuesday we met a family in the ward from geramny. such a cool family. the dad is not a member but the mother is so strong in the gospel. way cool. we also met with a single mother. we doored into her and she doesnt really believe in god but she is looking for something more. hopefully we can continue to meet with her and she starts to progress. she is really cool. on wednesday we helped someone in bergedorf move. and on that day i realized how much i miss physical labor and especially moving. i love it. i dont know why but its just so much fun and a good workout. germans also have a lot less crap than americans so it was really easy to move this family. we also met a really cool man in lüneburg on wednesday. we have yet to meet with him because of how far away he lives but he actually gve a correct number to call him. so thats rare and then he agreed to met later even though we cancled on him. so he sounds promising. thrusday was nothing special except for the funeral of one of the members. we were invited by another member to be his "companions" is the literal translation in german. it was cool. we were the only mormons there. the rest of the family was evangelisch. kind of awkward to talk to the pastor, but she didnt ask us any questions or anything. i bet she thought wewere totally wierd and we had the same thoughts about her LOL. we had district meeting and just a normal day. friday we had exchanges. i went to bergedorf with elder lindermann. cool kid. bergedorf sucks though. i feel really bad for the elders there. they have no investigators and nothing else really. there are TONS of j-dubs in their city and aparently they get around a lot. we tried to go on the street and talk to people but they dont even stop to talk or even acknowledge us. i think its because of the j-dub infestation they have. hopefully they get it turned around. we had a spiel abend that night witht wo of the youth and we played ping pong and uno and other card games. elder lindermann and i owned them with out american ping pong skills LOL. saturday was nothing special. hopefully you guys can post them on the blog soon. sunday was cool. we outfitted mirco and sam with baptisimal clothes for saturday. they get their interviews on wednesday and hopefully when they both pass we will have two baptisms here in lauenburg on the 9th!!!! pray for them please. then weekly planning and now today.
today we are going to hamburg to go to MINIATURE WONDERLAND!!!!! the largest model railroad in the world. im so excited. we get in cheaper because we are "pastors" technically. im excited. hopefully my camera will laste the many hours we will spend there. i will send the good pics next week.
love you all loads and i will talk to you all next week,

hey family,
so this week was god and bad. monday aftewr i broke my face LOL. we had zone sport. we played hockey and dodgeball. not just any dodge ball but "warball" yes its as serious as it sounds LOL. people fight and try and kill each other for the ball because there is only one of them. such a fun game. i nearly threw out my arm. should not have been throwing that fast especially not being warmed up and stretched and practiced. funny thought because after the second or third time i got the ball the zone leader came up to me and told me to tone it down a bit. everyone was freaked out by how fast i threw the ball. i didnt think it was so bad and i wasnt thrwoing that fast. and for not throwing a ball in i dont know how long, im not practiced at all so it was actually horrible. elder gochnour (my comp) came up to me afterwards and asked "how did you not make varsity baseball with an arm like that?" loads of fun and it was fun to see every one run from he in fear as i grabbed the ball. i think my nickname that fits well for all situations here out on the mission is "the hulk" given to me by elder santiago, but keeps coming back everywhere i go and fits well LOL. hockey was also interesting. with hard plastic sticks i tried not to play hard and hurt others and myself. some other elder sticked me and hit my hand. that sucked. but still loads of fun.
tuesday was a lot of planning for our lesson we had to give at zone conference the next day. a lot of finding. wednesday was our lesson and zone conference for most of the day. it all went well and we learned a lot from one another. then we had a good lesson with an "ewig" gator. we call them that because they are eternally investigating the church and never make progress. yes we are supposed to drop those people but for some reason we dont LOL. this guy is way to nice to say goodbye to anyway. he feeds us cookies everytime we come. he has a kind of journal/yearbook thing that every missionary he has ever met has written in it along with a picture of (the gator) and the elder. so funny. now i have the priviladge of writting in it and getting my picture in his book. i will attach that picture on this weeks pics. such a cool guy. thursday was tons of finding and then an innactive who is way cool and has a strong testimons so we are confused as to why he doesnt come to church. confusing situation.
firday i got sick. went to the doctor and sat inside all day. had two lessons with people where all i did was try not to cough to much and try not to talk. saturday same thing. inside and one lesson. sunday was a little better. our eating appointment was interesting but good. so our gator, sam, now has work everyday for 2-3 hours 3 times a day. including sundays. well he is getting baptised on march 9th and we cant afford to have him miss church if he wants to still get baptised. so we have to work out a ride for him everyweek anyway, but not with his work he missed the first hour (priesthood) and comes the second adn third and if sacrament meeting runs long he ahs to leave early to get back to work. hard situation. especially since we cant give him a ride and we have to rely on members. sucks but the lord helped us out yeterday and it all worked out.
thats my week. loads of fun and its jsut been full of snow and cold. elder gochnour and i are super excited and motivated to get out and work when we finally get the opportunity to.
love you all loads and i will talk to you next week.
